Meet Team RML

Diego is often described as an observant and composed professional.  However, his quiet demeanor belies his strength as a strong designer, and he brings a thoughtful process to architecture.  Having over 15 years of experience, he can count industrial facilities, food and beverage manufacturing plants, commercial offices, senior living facilities and hospitality among the types of projects he has worked on.

 After receiving his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil, he was involved with helping the development of rural communities by designing and building housing.  He facilitated communication between these communities and the federal government which sponsored a grant for the program.  Prior to joining RML Architects, Diego was a field engineer for a construction firm in Virginia and an architectural designer for a national AEC design-build firm. 

Diego uses the latest design and drafting software to prepare renderings and documents required for construction and is responsible for coordinating details and documentation with other disciplines.  His other duties include code reviews, client coordination and construction administration. 

Outside of the office, Diego enjoys playing soccer, paddleboarding and returning to Brazil to visit family especially during the cold Minnesota winters.
